So I figured that I should probably come up with something that I could post about on a weekly/regular basis and decided that I would give "Taylor's Trophies" a try! I know you are wondering just what the heck I am talking about with this trophy stuff, but let me explain... In sports, when you win a big game or championship, what do you get? A trophy! What do you call a hunter's prize deer mount and in what room does it hang? Why in the trophy room of course! Well shopping is my sport and I am a huntress of great deals so I think it's only natural to refer to the purchases/finds I am most proud of as my trophies! Hunting down amazing deals is really a bit of a game or challenge for me and I would like to think it is a game I am winning! I especially love comparing the original price to the sale price and figuring out just how much I saved, and I am not good at math, but I become a human calculator when it comes to figuring a percentage off! (It's probably slightly closer to an addition than it should be, but at least I have acknowledged that, and hey, they say that's the first step!) For now though, without further adieu, I present my first trophy!
Stats:
What: Fabulous, Tailored, Black Dolce and Gabbana Dress
Where: Neiman Marcus Last Call (If you decide to keep up with this little blog of mine, this is a name you will hearing about A LOT!)
Breakdown: This little number was originally priced at $1,250, and hit Last Call priced at $437, I had a 30% off coupon and paid with my NM card (save an additional 5%) for a grand total of
$249.09 (before taxes)! $1,000 off = trophy!
Bonus: The dress fit me like a glove (yay no alterations) and it's versatility makes it a true closet staple for me!
If you have never been to Neiman's Last Call, you are missing out! Stay tuned to see more of my trophies, and if you are a bargain huntress, please feel free to share your finds as well!!!
Neimans Last Call is heaven! Seriously, I think when I die I will go there or on the stage of the Victorias Secret Fashion show! There is a big NLC in Katy that I, sadly, used to frequent. By the way, I love the dress!!
